My passion for 3D began when I was introduced to 3D modeling in 2006 back before 3dsmax even had the Autodesk label. I was fortunate enough to attend a school that nurtured our creativity while providing us with a suite of the latest innovative 3D and drafting programs. In a few short years I went from building coloured cubes to multi-level factories in programs like AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, 3DSmax and Maya.

 

Since high-school I've studied a Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing at Queensland University of Technology before undertaking a Bachelor of Animation at Griffith University. My goal is to progress from being a 3D hobbyist and enthusiast to an industry professional.

 

I'm a huge sci-fi fan. As a kid I grew up reading books like Dune and War of the Worlds, and watched TV shows like The X-Files and Firefly. Growing up in that era I experienced the visual change from tacky Australian kids shows like Silversun to being blown away by the film Avatar in 2009 and I've been captivated by the power of VFX ever since. It's ability to bridge that gap between what's fabricated and what's reality and push the limits of imagination is something that excites me to this day and drives me towards perfecting my skills in the industry.
